The feet allow material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet trucks to pick up and move the boxes quickly and safely. The load carrier remains fully stackable and still folds down to save space. This adds an option to the existing product concept for more efficient transport flows, simplifying handling and reducing costs.
The WALTHER Faltbox Group supplies the foot modules for half Euro pallet (800 × 600 mm) folding boxes in all three heights (445, 320 and 220 mm). Customers can choose retrofit installation or factory-fitted modules, so the solution works for both existing and new logistics concepts. With a payload of up to 75 kg, the modules are designed to safely transport heavier goods.
Proven in everyday logistics operations
Another benefit is the large labelling areas, which allow clear identification – for example through integrated RFID in-mould labels. These are permanently fused to the product during injection moulding, resulting in highly durable, wear-resistant and tamper-evident identification that remains reliably readable even under intensive use and frequent return cycles.
In practice, the solution is already established: several customers use folding containers with attachable feet in their daily logistics operations. The extra clearance underneath makes handling heavy or frequently moved items easier.
Repairable and sustainable – designed for reuse systems
Replacing damaged feet individually makes the solution easy to repair – improving sustainability, cost-effectiveness and extending the containers’ service life.
The feet are currently offered in black. We chose that colour deliberately because it performs well in everyday use: Dirt is less noticeable, and it creates a clear, functional contrast with the container. Additional colour options are available on request.
The optional version with attachable feet demonstrates how the WALTHER Faltbox Group is specifically evolving its proven folding box system, giving users added flexibility in intralogistics.
