4 questions to Len Honselaer

Len Hoenselaer, industrial clerk apprentice in his third year, on his training.

You are in your third year of apprenticeship. What have you particularly enjoyed so far?

Len Hoenselaer: I particularly liked the fact that I was given an insight into all departments and that I was assigned to each department for a certain period of time. So far, I’ve enjoyed the sales and HR departments the most. I’m currently working in Accounting and I feel very comfortable there too.

How would you rate the WALTHER Faltbox Group as an employer?

Len Hoenselaer: I consider the WALTHER Faltbox Group to be a very good employer, as everyone is always open to listen to you and is very supportive. You can always ask anyone questions and they help you directly. This really makes you feel very comfortable here.

Why did you decide in favour of an apprenticeship and against a university degree?

Len Hoenselaer: I decided in favour of the apprenticeship and against studying because I wanted to start working straight away after passing my A-levels. My employer gave me a very good feeling and also left me the option of starting a part-time degree programme later on.

What happens after your apprenticeship?

Len Hoenselaer: I will stay with the WALTHER Faltbox Group after my apprenticeship. I will be able to participate in deciding which department I will work in. Of course, I really like that. I’m excited and looking forward to the future.
